Wordpress Theme WPremix

It could be the change in the season. It could be my boredom of staring out the window to a brown forest with no trees or personality.

I have started looking for new themes again – for this site and others I have going on. I recently upgraded one theme only to become bored with it within a matter of weeks.

I have become very fond of WordPress, and learning to love Joomla! as well. What would be ideal is something that looks like a Joomla! site but runs mostly like a WordPress site. WordPress has some great templates, but most of the ones I really like do command a bit of money.

In my journeys scouring around the web looking to be helpful in some way or other to someone I was directed to a site. It was clean and simple. It looked like a standard website, but something just felt a little different. I pulled up the source code and there I found it. WPRemix in the code of the template. I googled, and there was the site. Looks like they have something a bit different from the ordinary. Looks like you can “Create n Edit pages in Visual editor like a CMS.”

So Santa, if you are reading blogs please hear me out. I have been a very good girl this year. I have been scam fighting and spreading the word on the dangers of Kimkins. Just in case you happen to stop by, I would like a WPRemix theme. I have the perfect site I am working on, and I would love to try this theme. Please stay warm in the North Pole.

Can your blog get Hacked?

All was quiet. I spent a day on the phone, sorting, planning, finding some nice honest websites to do business with. It was an unusual day, as I had not had a chance to check my favorite forum boards and see what the latest news was.

Not even one minute into trying to catch up I see “News Flash!!! Yust Yucky Was Hacked!!!” I just about lost it, as I’ve been neglective myself and did not have the proper back ups to my blog. On top of that, Yucky is WordPress too!

Freaking out, I flipped here to affiliate scams.

The relief. All the time put in so far to starting this blog. I know, it’s not like Gone With The Wind or anything, but hey! It’s mine!

And maybe it will help someone. That is the whole point of leaving it displayed to the world.

Relief set in when I saw all was in tact. But then came the question. Could my blog get hacked?

The answer sadly is YES.

Taragana has a little something on the possibilities of a WordPress hacking. There are many more on the subject as well.

I don’t really know if Yucky was hacked. But the important thing to run with here is be sure to back up your blog.
